An Episode after Ep. 409839- 92753638904735257- 4900, Scene II

Somewhere on the under side of Port Caron, through one of the many secret doorways, down many of the winding secret passages is Major Birch's headquarters. He sits at a large oak desk leaning over a map. Beside his desk stand two officers at ease, but with dangerous expressions as they watch the Major's visitor Gunnar T. enter the room.
"Well major, I did your job, and you still haven't paid me" Gunnar greeted Birch gruffly.
"Good morning Gunnar, very glad to see you again" speaking in a smarmy British accent, the Major looked up from his map.
"You better be glad enough to have my money."
"Stand down there soldier, I have your money, there's no need to pull out the artillery" the major pulled out a white envelope and placed it on the edge of the desk closest to Gunnar.
As Gunnar came foward to grab his money the Major continued on, "is the only business that brings you back to Port Caron?"
Gunnar, busy ripping open the envelope to check the money, gives his standard answer, "That'll remain between me and my business, major."
"So hostile, Gunnar, so hostile. There's no need for such hostility,"the major sat back in his chair, crossed his legs and with his elbows on the arm rests his fingers pushed against one another forming a little tent of his hands. "Here, I will tell you how things are going in Port Caron, maybe that will warm you up. Since you have so helpfully knocked off Ellery Cottonwood, we have put together a proposal for Miss Cottonwood, that she will most likely not oppose."
"And what if she does?"
"Oh, then we just go to plan B, create fake documents that allow us repossess the land in the name of the government. And then, then we will begin the excavation of the land to uncover the ancient weapon that was buried by our ancestors thousands of years ago. After that I will be lord and master of Port Caron, no one will be able to stop me," an evil grin spread across the Major's face and he seemed to have drifted into his own thoughts.
"Why are you telling me this?" Gunnar's question snapped the Major out of his thoughts.
"Ah, well, if you had read ahead in the script, you would've noticed that it's an important plot point for my story line, which has to be introduced to the audience somehow. This scene allows for me to reveal my plan. Also if you'll notice the character sketches that were provided earlier on in the series, your character is known as the man who knows much information, but doesn't share a whole lot. This is one of those mysterious things that you have intricate knowledge of, which actually opens up the story option of you quite possibly having a moment of conviction and actually using your knowledge for good and possibly saving the town from my reign of terror."
"You know if you hadn't stated that quite so bluntly it could've almost been foreshadowing."
"Yes, well. I myself, unlike you, am not a man of mystery, merely a man of blunt force."
Gunnar rubs his chin in thought, "why don't you just run for mayor? It'd be easier, less costly, and you'd probably win, provided you had a professional campaign strategy."
"I was never a man to take the easy way, besides, this way is much more fun."
"Hmph, ok then. I'm going to leave before you become too insane and decide to hold me prisoner or something."
"Jolly good idea, I'll probably be seeing you later on."
"Yes I suppose so"
"Cheerio!" Major Birch called after Gunnar T. as he made his exit.
